For over twenty years, Irma has been a member of the Alberta Bar. She founded and owns 847 Law.

Irma has extensive knowledge in the areas of immigration law, family law, and civil litigation. Further, she has acted for both employees and employers and has a passion for employment law. Irma has appeared in many levels of court and administrative boards in Canada and understands how to run a file effectively to achieve the best results for her client.
Irma graduated with BLC and LLB degrees and was first called to the Bar of Saskatchewan in August 1997 and the Alberta Bar in July 1999. Irma is an active member of the Canadian Bar Association and sits as past-Chair of the Southern Alberta Immigration Section. With a passion for teaching, Irma has been a part-time lecturer, providing her expertise on Immigration Law and Practice to students at Bow Valley College. In 2007, Irma completed training on mediation of family and divorce conflicts. Additionally, Irma has also been involved in the following:

Outside of work, Irma enjoys cooking exquisite meals paired with a beautiful glass of wine for family and friends, utilizing Fish Creek Park as a place for many outdoor activities, and travelling across the globe.
